About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or other online services provided by IzzyBizzy Compute (ABN 88 732 133 699), referred to as "I" or "me". By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

Professional services

Security reviews, audits, testing and other professional work are provided under a separate written agreement or scope for each engagement. If there is any conflict, that written agreement takes priority over these terms.

Information on this website is general in nature. It is not advice tailored to your situation and should not be relied on as such.

Authorisation for testing

I will only carry out security testing against systems for which I have written authorisation from someone entitled to give it. Please do not ask me to test systems you do not own or control. Testing without permission is unlawful.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse my websites and services. That includes attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting them, scanning or testing them without my written permission, or using them to break the law.

If you find a security issue in one of my sites or services, I would appreciate you telling me at the email address below, responsibly and without exploiting it.

Confidentiality

I treat information you share with me for the purpose of an engagement as confidential, and use it only for that purpose, unless disclosure is required by law or you agree otherwise.

Intellectual property

The content, design and branding of my websites belong to me or are used with permission. Reports and deliverables from an engagement are covered by the written agreement for that engagement.

No warranty and limits of liability

I take care in what I publish and do, but websites and services are provided "as is" and I do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free.

No security review or test can find every weakness or guarantee that a system cannot be compromised. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and my liability is limited as set out in the relevant written agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.

Third-party links and services

My websites and services may link to or use third-party services. I am not responsible for their content or practices.

Privacy

How I handle information is explained in my Privacy notice.

Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use my websites and services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
