Privacy

The short version: I collect basic information about visitors to my website and services, and it is anonymised so it can't be used to identify you. I only keep personal details you choose to send me, and only to respond to you and do the work you ask for.
This notice covers IzzyBizzy Compute (ABN 88 732 133 699) and the websites and online services I run under it, including izzybizzy.au.
What I collect
Anonymous visitor information
I use privacy-focused analytics to understand how my sites and services are used, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world visitors are, which sites referred them, and what kind of browser or device they use. This information is aggregated and anonymised. It is not used to identify, profile or follow individual people, and I don't use it for advertising.
Information you send me
If you email me or engage me for work, I collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, business details, and information needed to scope and deliver the work. I use it to reply to you, provide the service, and meet legal obligations.
Information handled during security work
Security reviews and testing can involve access to client systems and data. I handle that under the written scope and agreement for each engagement, collect only what the work needs, and keep it confidential.
Cookies and local storage
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It saves your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device. Other services I run may use cookies that are necessary for them to work, and if so they'll say so.
Who else sees it
I use trusted providers to run my services, for example for hosting, analytics and email. They process information on my behalf. I don't sell personal information, and I don't share it except with these providers, where you ask me to, or where the law requires it. Some providers store data outside Australia.
How long I keep it
Anonymous analytics are kept in aggregate. Emails and engagement records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet my business and legal obligations, and are then deleted or securely disposed of.
Security
Protecting information is the business I'm in. I use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what I hold. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, I'll notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information I hold about you. Email privacy@izzybizzy.au and I'll respond. If you have a concern I can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
I may update this notice as my services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
